ISR provides a complete Software Defined Radio (SDR) modem allowing microwave network operators to quadruple their capacity for 40 to 70% less cost than alternative hardware or mixed hardware/software products. The technology flexibility allows ISR to aim at the following markets :

- WiMax Communications (802.16) and

Business Model:
ISR provides equipment suppliers a reference design for the modem hardware and associated components. ISR will also provide all the software/firmware that will be loaded into the radio. ISR will charge a onetime fee for the reference design and a license fee for the software/firmware loaded into each radio. Technical Support is provided by ISR on a 7/24 basis for an annual charge.

The newly created company is a joint venture between Valeo, Univalor, and Créa. Working for Solution YD3 are Jacques A. de Guise of the École de Technologie Supérieure, L’Hocine Yahia of École Polytechnique, and Nicolas Duval of the Centre Hospitalier de L’Université de Montréal who are inventors of technologies currently being exploited by Solution YD3.

Business Model:
Solution YD3 provides a medical device for measuring dynamically in 3D the characteristics of a knee. This device is used in telemedicine and provides knee evaluation services for physiotherapists, orthopaedic surgeons, and doctors specialised in sports medicine, physiatric, and geriatric.

This innovative evaluation service fulfills the needs of specialised clinics, professional sport teams and sport amateurs, hospitals, and workman trades involved in high knee joint injuries risks. The system is being evaluated in several clinics.
